"Olde Saint Nick" Primitive Spiced Christmas Lantern
Here is a special treat to light up your holiday season! This is a one of a kind, offered only on The Primitive Gathering, primitive spiced lantern with Old Saint Nick waving from a chimney. He has a lot of detail and was made with a canning jar that is treated with a special technique to give it that wonderful primitive look. I have drawn and cut the silhouette and then covered the jar with a collection of spices and then coated it with 100% cinnamon scented beeswax. Inside the jat is a a glass votive cup that holds a standard tealight. Add a bit of your favorite holiday potpourri inside the jar (not the votive cup!) and it will diffuse the scent when lit. The lit lantern has a gorgeous amber glow and Santa seems to come alive. The jar has a rusty wire handle and a rusty screw top lid that has a star motif cut out so it can project the shape of a star on the ceiling when lit. Please use only tealites and not votive candles and as always, use caution when lighting any candle. "A Boy and His Bestfriend" Original Primitive Portrait
 I am very pleased to be able to offer to you my one of a kind, original painting of a boy and his dog..a reproduction inspired by the original done by J. Bradley in the year 1840. My painting is done on canvas in acrylics and is heavily texturized and aged to have the appearance of a true antique. It is then stained and sealed and it comes with my own handcrafted frame that is covered with black milkpaint that is crackled and aged.
