34" Primitive Folky Pilgrim Dolls

"Be Ye Thankful" Pilgrims are an original by SEW PRIM Patterns and individually handmade to order. Each doll will vary slightly from the picture and come with a vintage sepia "Thanksgiving Feast" postcard (copy) tied at the wrist, signed and dated.
Sold as a pair or individually, each doll is made from quality muslin and stained for a time worn look. The faces are hand stitched in black with vintage button eyes and sculpted noses; Brown wool roving is stitched on for the hair.
Their clothing is made out of coffee color cotton flannel* with stained white linen collar and cuff accents and vintage button embellishments at the neck.
The Pilgrim Girl's bonnet and apron also made from linen, is hand stitched with the phrase "Be Ye Thankful". The Pilgrim Boy's hat is black cotton flannel that is stiffened and scrunched to give it's shape. His shirt is tied at the waist with a jute belt and jute twine at the legs. Both Pilgrim dolls have black painted boots with stitched laces.
