Harvest Angel
I would like to extend my Autumn blessings with a lovely Harvest Angel. She is hand stitched from early cloth and rag stuffed. She wears a skirt and blouse (with repairs) in my very best early calicoes in the colours of this glorious season. Angel measures 21 inches tall, from the top of her head to the tips of her delicate toes. Angel's face is needle sculpted, her eyes are hand painted. She wears 19c brown stockings on her slender legs. Using the same brown stocking fabric, I fashioned her hair. Her Harvest "pumpkin" is hand did from these same wools. The pumpkin is hooked on the front, wool on the back and is stuffed with Autumn scented thistle and a bit of sawdust for fullness. A grubby branch is added for the stem. She is designed to sit, but if you must have her and you would like her to hang, I will gladly add some old brown cord.
Her "wings" are hooked from hand cut early wools.
